The Nominating Committee and the Board of Directors of the Company have reviewed and considered Mr Hor Siew Fu's qualifications and work experience and are of the opinion that he is suitable for the role of Independent Director of the Company. In particular, the Nominating Committee and the Board of Directors have noted that Mr Hor, having been the Company's CFO from 2007 to 2013, would have some familiarity with the Company and its business which would be useful in his role as Director, while having sufficient lapse of time from his historical relationship with the Company. |
